DAY 3: BYE BYE BOSTON

Today we spent our day touring Boston, this time we're revisiting places that the trolley brought us to since we didn't have the opportunity to walk around.

Green Tea Frapaccino from Starbucks

The famous "Duck story"

After wandering around the park, we ventured off to China town which ended up being smaller than the other China Town's Ive been to. We had Lunch at Dumping Cafe.

Taiwanese Styled Wonton Soup, Dumpling

We than later made our way you Quincy Market, mainly to sight see, and purchase souvenirs for friends!

Time flies when you're having fun. Today's the last day in Boston and we just woke up, got ready, packed and left to the Boston Logan Airport. Our flight was delayed, but we ended up getting home safely !

Enjoy !

BOSTON DAY 2

This morning we started our day off with some typical American breakfast at Pickle. The wait time was long, and the lines were long. That's what you know it's worth it! And it did end up being worth it. The atmosphere of the place was very chill. And since it was the weekend, I can see lots of hungover college students coming in, aha. I ordered the egg basket. Which basically was a toast with eggs inside it, covered with cheese with a side of sausages and hash browns!

We later drive up to Galleria in Boston and we did some small shopping and went onto the trolley tours . Boston truly is a beautiful city, I love the mix feeling of nature from the lake and the many trees, and also the beautiful old buildings are kept in shape! The smaller roads are very narrow, but the houses are nice to look at!

After spending the day in the trolley tours, we went out for dinner at Legal Sea Foods. A higher end sea food restaurant, which was delicious! I ordered lobster pasta and we had sweet chilli clams as a side.

We ended the night with a surprise birthday celebration for my grandma. She's 69 now :)

BOSTON TRIP: DAY ONE

Last weekend, my family and I planned a trip to visit my aunt! Took me awhile to find time to upload, but here it is! :)
---------------------------------------
FRIDAY SEPT 13TH:
Time flies by so quickly. My family and I have been planning to send my sister and I to Boston for a very long time now. Over the years it's been all talk, and no action. My aunt has been living in Boston for the past 12 years and no one from our family has gone out to visit her. This summer we actually started to plan it, and this long lost promise has finally occurred ! :)
The flight only took an hour and when we arrived to Boston Logan international airport it was raining. I didn't know what to expect in terms of weather (I did check the temperature beforehand), but this weekend turned out to be a tad chilly. First we dropped off our bags at my aunts house. A warm cozy townhouse in Waltham.
A warm cozy place with only my aunt living here.
After unpacking and settling down, we went out for breakfast, which ended up being dim sum.
The food was authentic, cheap and decent. The building was very traditional and china-like.

We later went out for groceries at a Korean supermarket; H Mart. There are H-Marts in Toronto, but I've never been to such a big one! I had so much fun exploring, everything looked so cute!
My sister and I ordered shaved ice with red bean and fruits. :) and we purchased random Asian goodies. This H-Mart also gave away free samples, I went around trying everything, aha.

Kimchi Paradise !

We later drove up to Wrentham Village Premium outlets to shop around. Personally I didn't like this outlet. I've been to other outlets before and I definitely find they were cheaper. I didn't end up purchasing anything. It was nice to tour around though !

 Outfit: Top - H&M // Zara look-a-like skort - EBay // Cross necklace - Aldo // Bag - Abercrombie // Shoes - Nine West //

Lastly, we went out for dinner at a Taiwanese restaurant called Mulan. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between regular Hong Kong food and Taiwanese food. (Don't be offended!)
Enjoy ! :)
